Founder’s Cohort
Being a founder can be a lonely journey, even more so in climate tech.
That’s why we’re creating the Founder’s Cohort — a dedicated space for clean and climate tech entrepreneurs to come together, learn from one another, and access valuable resources.

The cohort will be curated group of 8–12 entrepreneurs and leaders working in clean tech, climate tech, and sustainability sectors across North Carolina.

The program offers a professionally facilitated series of mastermind-style sessions where founders engage in peer-to-peer sharing, coaching, and structured feedback. Participants will also have the opportunity to present startup pitches to refine their strategy and storytelling, and collaborate on solving common challenges facing climate tech ventures.
The cohort will culminate in a public Community Forum pitch night featuring investors, advisors, and leaders from the regional ecosystem. In addition, participants will receive access to coworking space, prototyping facilities, and scholarships for accelerator programs through First Flight Venture Center.

The cohort will run September through November 2025, with sessions every 3 weeks or so, culminating in a public community event in November 2025.
